1. Service overview
MsgMask provides registration-free temporary inboxes, plus email forwarding aliases and limited-duration archives that you can manage after signing in. Features, address domains, retention periods, and capacity may change to maintain security and reliability.
Temporary email is not permanent storage, backup, or identity verification. Complete your task before the address expires, and use a stable email address for accounts that require long-term recovery.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough under the laws of your location to agree to these terms, or have consent from an authorized guardian. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
You may not use this type of service if you are subject to sanctions, export restrictions, or local laws prohibiting its use. You are responsible for deciding whether your use is lawful; service accessibility is not legal permission.
3. Accounts & access credentials
Forwarding features are protected by email verification codes and optional two-factor authentication. You must secure the destination mailbox, protect your login tokens and TOTP keys, and take responsibility for activity on your account.
Temporary inbox access tokens are stored in your browser, and traditional password recovery is not provided. Do not share devices, addresses, or access credentials. If you detect unauthorized access, stop using the affected address immediately and contact support.
4. Acceptable use
The service may be used only for lawful communications you are authorized to receive, privacy separation, and authorized testing. You must not interfere with the normal operation of our servers, delivery systems, other users, or third-party services.
Prohibited conduct includes phishing, credential theft, account takeover, harassment, spam, malware distribution, fraud, privacy violations, and evading third-party risk controls. Attempting or assisting with these activities violates the terms just as completing them does.
5. Automation, quotas & fair use
Without written permission, you may not use scripts to create inboxes in bulk, poll interfaces, scrape emails, or bypass the interface or rate limits. Reasonable manual refreshing and normal product use are not restricted by this rule.
We may set limits on request frequency, message size, attachments, or the number of aliases based on system load, abuse risk, and fair capacity. Limits are not guaranteed allowances and may not be circumvented through multiple sessions or accounts.
6. Third-party websites & sender rules
Third parties decide whether to accept temporary email addresses and may require a stable address or additional verification. MsgMask does not guarantee that any particular website will accept an address and does not recommend bypassing its explicit policies.
Transactions, accounts, and content between you and third parties are governed by their respective rules. You bear the risk of losing a third-party account or missing notifications because you used a temporary address.
7. Email content & authorization
Rights in email content remain with the relevant sender, recipient, or rights holder. You grant us the limited permission necessary to receive, store, display, filter, forward, and protect the service.
This permission does not allow us to sell email contents as advertising material. The relevant permission ends after content expires, an account is deleted, or the processing purpose ends, subject to necessary retention and backup periods.
8. Intellectual property & feedback
MsgMask’s brand, interface, documentation, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer trademark or source-code rights to you, nor permit copying the service to create a misleadingly similar site.
You may provide feedback voluntarily, which we may use to improve the service without identifying you. Feedback must not contain third-party confidential information and does not create any payment obligation.
9. Complaints, infringement & unlawful content
Rights holders may submit infringement or abuse reports to support@msgmask.com, including the relevant address, time, legal basis, and contact details. Provide only the information needed for assessment; do not send private emails unrelated to the report.
We will assess a report’s completeness, urgency, and applicable law, and may preserve necessary logs, restrict an address, or request additional information. False reports or harassment through the complaint process may be rejected.
10. Service availability & changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, zero delays, or delivery of every email. Internet routing, sender policies, spam filtering, maintenance, and events beyond our control may affect results.
We may add, modify, or discontinue features and, where feasible, provide reasonable notice of significant changes. Because this is a temporary tool, you should not keep the only copy of important information on the service.
11. Suspension & termination
If we reasonably believe there is abuse, a security risk, a legal requirement, or a serious violation of these terms, we may limit requests, suspend aliases, or terminate accounts. In emergencies, we may take protective action first and provide an explanation where feasible.
You may stop using temporary tools or request deletion of a forwarding account. After termination, provisions required by law, needed to resolve disputes, or necessary to protect our systems will remain in effect.
12. Retention & liability boundaries
The periods below help explain the service boundaries and do not guarantee delivery or recovery of any individual email. Move important information to a reliable location you control within the required timeframe.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that a specific address will persist, a particular sender will accept it, or every email will arrive successfully.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Your non-waivable legal consumer rights remain unaffected.
14. Limitation of liability & indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or account opportunities. For this free service, our aggregate liability is limited to the lowest reasonable extent permitted by applicable law.
If your unlawful use, infringing content, or breach of these terms results in a third-party claim, you agree to assume the corresponding responsibility to the extent permitted by law. This does not cover liability caused by our own unlawful or intentional conduct.
15. Disputes & severability
If an issue arises, first contact support with the facts and your preferred resolution; we will try to resolve it in writing. Mandatory consumer protections and dispute jurisdiction are not waived by these terms.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining terms remain effective and should be interpreted as closely as possible to their original intent within the limits of the law. Failing to enforce a right immediately does not mean it is permanently waived.
